The Publisher of Gulf News & Friday invites applications for the following position in its Technical Support Department.
Mechanical Engineer: (Ref: TSD 2/14)
The candidate should be a Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting mechanical faults in newspaper/ commercial printing and production equipment.
The ideal candidate should be physically fit and be prepared to work in a rotating shift system covering 24/7 production.
Good written and oral English communication, computer skills and adaptability to a multinational environment is essential.
Familiarity with new technology working environment (KBA press) would be an advantage.
