Job Description
A well established and reputable Al Ain based British curriculum private school is seeking a native British trained and experienced Primary Principal who has experience in ADEC approved schools as to lead and develop its already successful primary department to greater heights of achievement in both the learning and teaching environments.
The school offers the National Curriculum of England and Wales based students from KG to Year 6; this is not a typical western expatriate school as it caters for a delightful population of students mainly from the local Emiratis alongside those from the Middle East and Africa. Academic and behavioural standards are high and achievements throughout the school are exemplary.
Responsibilities:
The principal is responsible for the overall administration and operation of the school in a perfect manner consistent with local policies and provincial guidelines. Further, the principal oversees the implementation of the district priorities, educational programs and the development of the School Plan and is responsible for the educational welfare of students.
Requirements:
A Master's or equivalent degree in a relevant field and senior educational leadership in a school system may be required.
The candidate should be approved by Abu Dhabi Education Council, is necessary to be appointed to this position.
The applicant should have at least 3-5 years of experience working in a similar capacity or with a senior management team of a successful school in Al ain / Abu Dhabi.
The applicants who have skills in Arabic Language are preferred.
